Matthew Allen
Matt Allen is Senior Lecturer in Organisation Studies at Alliance Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester. His research focuses on the comparative institutional analysis of innovation and human resource management. He has published 21 articles, two books, and 14 book chapters.
Carlos Avendaño
Carlos Avendaño is a Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at The University of Manchester. His research interest is in modelling of complex fluids and soft matter using classical computer simulation methods. He has over 30 publications in peer-review journals.
Mike Baker
Mike Baker is the Process Engineering Team Leader for Unilever’s Personal Care Discover group at Port Sunlight. His research interests are focussed around the processing of liquid formulated products including liquid mixing processes and in-line measurement. He has acted at external supervisor for numerous PhD projects at Manchester, Birmingham and Cambridge Universities.

Max is a PhD student in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Manchester. His research interests are in process analytical techniques and control.
Daniel Bowron
Daniel Bowron leads the Disordered Materials Group at the Science and Technology Facilities Council’s ISIS Pulsed Neutron and Muon Source. His research expertise lies in the use and development of neutron and X-ray scattering and spectroscopy methods to investigate the structure and properties of liquids and structurally disordered solids. He has published over 125 papers.

Cesar Mendoza holds a Research Manager position for the Product Engineering team in Unilever. Research interests focus in unlocking superior product performance by combining formulation science and advanced measurement.

Sorosh Mirfasihi
Sorosh is a PhD student at The University of Manchester. With his background in mechanical engineering he focuses on developing computational fluid dynamic techniques for dispersing high viscous non-Newtonian fluids into a continuous phase within stirred vessels.
Lisa Morrison

Chris Muryn is Head of Research Instrumentation in the Department of Chemistry and Photon Science Institute at The University of Manchester. Rob Prosser
Rob Prosser is a reader in Thermodynamics and Computational Fluid Dynamics at Manchester's Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering. His interests include non Newtonian fluid flows, computational combustion and numerical algorithms. He has more than 80 publications in areas including reacting flows, process simulation, thermal hydraulics, aeroacoustics, multiresolution analysis and applied mathematics.
Thomas Rodgers
Thomas Rodgers is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at The University of Manchester, and the current Chadwick Building Pilot plant facility coordinator. His research interests are in process mixing, scale-up, and electrical tomography. He has published over 30 journal papers and is a key contributor to the Mixing section in Elsevier’s Food Science Reference Module.

Sarah Youngs is a Deuteration Chemist at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Facility located at the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Harwell. Her research interests focus on the development of new synthetic routes for deuterated materials and the use of neutron diffraction to study the structure of liquids. She has 19 publications and 5 patents.
Tristan Youngs
Tristan Youngs is an instrument scientist on the NIMROD instrument at the ISIS Pulsed Neutron and Muon Facility, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. His principal research interests focus on confined molecular and ionic liquids, the application of neutron scattering to heterogeneous, and the development of computational tools to assist in the analysis and modelling of data. He has published 48 research articles and has an h-index of 24.
